  • Stag Party Spain

My Wild, Fantastic Spanish Stag Party

My friends consider me to be a bit of an old fashioned guy, so they knew when I finally asked Michelle to marry me that I was going to do it up high style! Hey, I plan to do this only once!

That is why when it came to my stag party Spain seemed like the best option.

As a traditionalist, I really wanted to go the whole nine yards. The bachelor, or stag party, is a wedding rite that I didn’t want to miss. I called my travel agent the second I realized that I was I wanted the best stag party Spain had to offer.

She sold me on a wonderful vacation package in Puerto Banus, a lovely marina near a resort town called Marbella. Nestled on the Costa del Sol, which literally translates into the Coast of the Sun, Puerto Banus offered numerous nightclubs, bars and hotels that cater to soon to be married pre-wedding bashes.

In regards to my own stag party Spain, and more specifically Puerto Banus, held a special appeal. Number one among the advantages were the golf resorts in Marbella. These wonderful greens were but a hop, skip and a jump away from my destination hotel in Puerto Banus. As an avid golfer, my days could be spent hitting a few holes and my evenings would be filled with the debauchery that only my special stag party Spain entourage could enjoy!

Other amenities offered by visiting the gorgeous and temperate Puerto Banus included:

    1. Private parties – depending on the deal you sign up for, you can get a special area in a hotel or lounge or bar set up for you and your guests alone. In this area you can dance, laugh and drink the night away. The conveniences are plentiful, but the largest one is keeping the members of your wedding party entertained without distraction. This most often occurs when the attention is focused into one group. Another plus is that no one can bust in and ruin the festivities unless they are formally invited.
    2. Five star hotel accommodations – some of the loveliest views of the marina were had from the balcony of my wonderful hotel room. The service and the food was impeccable and whenever I had a question or concern the hotel and were willing to accommodate me. I was treated like a King for the duration of my stay and loved every minute of it.
    3. Party Planning – In regards to my stag party Spain had all the answers. I felt as if I had to do very little and the party fell into place. What’s more me and the guys had the best time imaginable and I got all the credit! How marvelous is that?

Another wonderful aspect of my Puerto Banus Stag celebration was that the package itself was affordable.

If you really want a special stag party Spain has so much to offer. Your travel agent can help you personalize your particular package but if you want the best bang for your money you can’t go wrong with Puerto Banus as your destination. You’ll come back home with lasting memories that will make your trip down the aisle even more magical!

Play the Most Luxurious Courses on the Costa Del Sol

If your golfing travels take you to Spain, you simply must visit the Costa del Sol to experience one of the best golf holidays Spain can provide. This coastal area is known across the globe for pristine white sand beaches and luxurious golf courses. On the Costa del Sol you can find a wide range of courses to play, from the affordable and family-friendly to the luxurious and elite. If you are looking for luxury, here are some courses you must explore.

Sotogrande Real Golf Club – One of Europe’s Top Ten

Sparkling blue lakes, fast greens, and a strong wind from the coast make Sotogrande Real one of the most challenging, and yet beautiful, courses in the Costa del Sol area. This prestigious golf course features typical Trent Jones designs, and is frequently voted one of the top ten courses in Europe because of its beauty, challenge, and pristine landscaping. This is the first Bermuda grass course in the area, and the 18-hole par 72 course is teaming with beautiful plant life to add to the golfer’s experience.

El Paraiso – Stunning Views Combined with Challenging Golf

Another luxurious and challenging course on the Costa del Sol is El Paraiso. The views from this course are simply stunning, including both mountain and Mediterranean views. Each hole was specifically designed to incorporate a view of some sort, and the staff is known as one of the most friendly in the area. The course is 18 holes long and rated at par 72. When you are done playing, you can grab a snack or drink on the clubhouse’s refreshing terrace or a full meal at the restaurant.

Marbella Club – Challenge, Luxury, and a Beachside Location

The Marbella Club Hotel Golf Resort and Spa offers golfers a beautiful beachside location to enjoy one of the Costa del Sol’s most challenging golf experiences. Coupled with the Thalasso Spa and the Beach Club, this is truly one of the most luxurious golf locations in the entire country. Be prepared to play a challenging course, as the 18-hole par 73 course is one of the most technical in the area.

Santa Maria Golf Course – Playable and Luxurious

The 18-hole course at Santa Maria is only a par 70 course, and it is definitely playable by people of varying ability levels. However, the club is no less luxurious because the course is easy. The striking Mediterranean views make this one of the most beautiful courses on the Costa del Sol. The 19th hole restaurant has panoramic views of the course and the Mediterranean beyond, making it a favorite of golfers and non-golfers alike. The club is in the process of building another more challenging course to please its more experienced golfers.

If you are visiting the Costa del Sol with a luxurious golf vacation in mind, these are some of the courses you must see. You will need to narrow down your choices before you arrive, since there are around 70 courses in the area. Make sure these courses are on your list, because you will not want to miss the luxurious experience they provide.
